Event Details
Adult fishing will start at 7:00am (honor system). This is a "Catch/Photo & Release" Tournament. For each species, there will be a chance for each team to submit 2 photos for a combined length. For the slam entry, 1 picture of each species for a combined length.
Final registration will be Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 2018 12:00-6:00pm at the Olde Fish House Marina, Pine Island Rd, Matlacha
Captains Meeting is Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 2018 @ 6:00 pm at the Olde Fish House Marina. The "Measure Master" will review the specific regulations for the photo entries and answer questions. Teams will receive their measure devices and wrist bands at the Captain's Meeting.
On Tournament day, Nov. 4th, Weigh-in will end at 3:00.
$5,000 in CASH PRIZES will be awarded as follows:
Longest Legal Snook $1,000.00 Longest Legal Redfish $1,000.00 Longest Legal Trout $1,000.00 Longest Legal Slam total $2,000.00

This event is held each year to raise monies for Pine Island Elementary School's accelerated reading program and educational tools.

SHARKS = 4th & 5th Graders Fishing from 9:00AM - 10:30AM
PINFISH = 2nd & 3rd Graders Fishing from 10:45AM- 12:00 noon
SHRIMP = K & 1st Graders Fishing from 12:15PM - 1:15PM
$35.00 Donation to Sponsor a Student
Your Tax deductible sponsor donation entitles each child to a Fishing Rod & Reel (to keep); All the bait required to catch that big one; trophies; Free Lunch; special t-shirt; an entry for a drawing for a new Bicycle; Kids Activities eg: Face Painting; Games;
