Description

The beginning of the first two years of Riverdale started at the present day site of Dunbar High School. Riverdale was located there for about two years while the present site was being constructed. Jack Hogg was the principal for those two years. The school year of 1972-1973 at our current location was guided by Mr. "Mike" Prymas who was the principal for that first year. He also helped design and construct our school. Our next principal was Mr. James Middlebrooks, who was also assistant principal for some time here at Riverdale. Riverdale, our Alma Mater, Voyaging toward excellence, Holding our heading, do not alter This our course for renaissance. Navigate though stormy gales, High seas and rain, All challenges, Always striving, onward, forward, Ever on toward excellence.
