Fabrizio and Ingrid Aielli announce the newest addition to their family of restaurants that includes Sea Salt & Barbatella. Dorona, A Modern Italian Steakhouse will open in January 2018 in the former MidTown Kitchen & Bar location on the corner of Golden Gate Parkway and US 41 in Naples. Sea Salt's corporate chef Jason Goddard will lead the culinary team.
Dorona will feature an approachable main menu along with a special menu presented at the table featuring the finest custom cuts of beef available from select farms across the United States. Menu items will include re-invented sandwiches and burgers, pasta dishes, fresh salads, seafood, chicken, pork, lamb, and duck offerings.
The restaurant is named after the Dorona (an ancient word meaning "gift") grape which is now grown in a salt water lagoon in Venice Italy where Chef Fabrizio was raised.
Dorona will have a lively bar that will include craft beers, hand craft cocktails, and wines on tap. The wine list will include a unique selection of wines by the glass, including Dorona.
