Each class offers a ($100) optional simulator-based use-of-force legal decision-making training. Each "simulator run" is followed by a collective legal debrief on use-of-force decision, led by attorney Andrew Branca.

Join Renowned Self Defense Legal Expert Andrew Branca as he delves deep into Florida law to help you craft a self defense strategy that is effective, legal, and powerful. This event allows participants to sign up for either class, however CLE credits is only given to participants that take the course on Level 1. Over the course of ~6 hours, and at a fraction of a one-on-one legal consult, you will learn how to build a self-defense strategy that will:
Prepare you to win both the physical AND legal battles.
Help you say the right thing to 911, first responders, and investigative officers
Thoroughly explain your state’s laws and how they’re applied in court to actual people.
Teach you the most common legal vulnerabilities.
Give you confidence to defending others, and account for the strict limits on defending property.
Explain what “Stand-Your-Ground,” the “Castle Doctrine,” “Presumptions of Reasonableness” and “Self-defense Immunity” REALLY mean . . . and what they DO NOT mean.

IMPORTANT: All times are approximate, EXCEPT THAT THE CLASS WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9AM. Please plan to arrive no later than 8:30AM to get signed in and seated. Level 1 and Level 2 classes are NOT a single two-day course, It is important that you understand that The Law of Self Defense LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 classes are TWO DISTINCT CLASSES.

This class is designed to engage students with scenario-driven applications of the law. It is customized to your state’s statutes, court decisions, and jury instructions. Participants will know the law in a practical and actionable way to situations that arise in their daily lives. All participants will receive a certificate of completion of the class as well as a printed-and-bound copy of the ~400 presentation slides.
Will cover a plain-English course on Florida self-defense law with CLE credit where you will learn:
Criminal Justice Pipeline — What to Expect • Five Principles of the Law of Self-Defense
Defense of Others
Defense of Property
After the Fact/Interacting with Law Enforcement
