Practice Your Golf Game at One of These Top Golf Courses in Florida

The State of Florida has more than 1,200 golf courses, more than any other state. It's a great sport to play a group of friends and enjoy some friendly competition. And, of course, it's better than a day at the office if you're entertaining customers! From the Panhandle to South Florida, there are plenty of courses to practice your best golf game.

Panhandle 

Capital City Country Club

Established in 1908, Capital City remains in excellent shape. With elevation changes and terrain of beautiful oak trees, this course is made for a perfect day of golf.

St. James Bay

St. James Bay’s course offers a true Florida experience. This course is surrounded by plenty of swamp and wildlife that will give a wonderful view while you play but also create an abundance of obstacles along the way.

SouthWood Golf Club

Located in North Central Florida, SouthWood Golf Club offers a scenic course complete with hills, open fairways, and beautiful oak trees. With six sets of tees at each hole, this course is perfect for any golfer from beginner to advanced.

Central Florida

Black Diamond Ranch

Streamsong

Streamsong gives a special taste to the game of golf. This course has three courses--the Red, Blue, and Black-- and each offers their own unique challenges. The Red Course tends to be softer while the Blue Course is a bit rougher with challenging bunkers and green. The Black Course was only recently added and is an opportunity for any player level. Disney’s Oak Trail 

Disney’s Oak Trail is an excellent course to play on your next Disney trip. This course is a relaxed 9-hole walking course and is a great way to take a walk, play a few holes, and unwind.

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge 

Linked with the famous golfer himself, Arnold Palmer, Bay Hill Club & Lodge is a course that offers a true PGA tournament experience. Play like a pro as you take on this 27-hole championship course.

East Coast

World Golf Village

Located at the World Golf Hall of Fame where some of the world’s most famous golfers are honored, World Golf Village also offers two award-winning courses. The King & Bear and Slammer & Squire courses are designed to give a pleasurable golf experience in a beautiful resort setting.

Jupiter Hills Club

Jupiter Hills offers a characteristic most courses in Florida can’t-- elevation. Located on some of the highest ground in the state, this course is designed to give players a challenge they do not usually have to face in Florida. This course is consistently highly-ranked and deservingly so.

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

Enjoy a seaside day of gold at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club’s famous Ocean course. This course is known for it’s elevated greens and steep bunkers accompanied by a sea breeze that adds a slight challenge. Don’t miss an opportunity to play this demanding yet delightful course.

TPC Sawgrass

TPC Sawgrass is a world-renowned course and best known for its design as the first stadium-style golf course. This course offers a challenge with fast greens and intense bunkers. Not only is there a challenge on every hole, but hole 17 is infamous for a being particularly difficult par 3.

Seminole Golf Club

Designed by Donald Ross in 1929, Seminole Golf Club continues to be one of Florida’s most outstanding courses and ranking nationally consistently. This course is both beautiful and unique with elevation changes to keep the game challenging. 

West Coast

TPC Tampa Bay

Take on the water at TPC Tampa Bay. This course is surrounded by lakes and natural wetlands that will surely put you to the test during your next round of golf. However, this course does offer a variety of tees that will allow each player to make this round as easy or challenging as they’d like.

Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club

Home to the top-ranked Copperhead Course, Innisbrook Golf Club gives each player the experience of a professional. This course is a long-time favorite of PGA pros for its beauty and lengthy challenge. This course will give you an amazing experience from start to finish.

The Concession Golf Club

The Concession Golf Club is yet another famous design by architect Jack Nicklaus. This design offers a variety of meadows, wetlands, and forests that make the course known for its natural beauty. 

The Gasparilla Inn & Club

Get a taste of the islands when playing this championship course. Play a round oceanside on this “island within an island” style course or take advantage of the private lessons offered with PGA professionals.

World Woods Golf Club

World Woods is made up of two completely different courses-- both offering a unique challenge. The Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks Courses are laid out adjacent to each other and are equally beautiful, however, both are designed to give players a completely different golfing experience. 

South Florida

Old Corkscrew Golf Course 

Named a Jack Nicklaus signature design, Old Corkscrew certainly lives up to the title. This course is a par-72 championship layout that is surrounded by the natural beauty of Florida. Although one of the most challenging courses in the state, this course is definitely a must-play.

Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club

Looking for a course for any player level? Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club is the perfect course for you. This course is designed with wide, open fairways, incredible condition, and several tee options making it a great option when playing with players of all levels.

Trump National Doral Miami 

Home of the Blue Monster, this course is known to be one of the most challenging courses in the country. Trump National Doral Miami has hosted PGA events for the last 55 years and was recently redesigned to make the course even more remarkable. Give yourself a challenge you won’t forget on this course.

Indian Creek Country Club

Isolated in its own community, Indian Creek is perfectly maintained and gives players a variety of obstacles such as an abundance of bunkers and a difficult layout. This course is incredibly exclusive but remains one of the most unique courses in the nation.
